Hello & Welcome!

Hello All!

It's a beautifully cold and snowy night here in my home town. I work in and Elementary School and today was a snow day (woo woo) !!! I've been home all day listening to music and planning my upcoming trip to D. C. in March for the National Walk for Epilepsy. I can't wait. I hope there will be lots of people there. So as for seizures for me, which I'm sure most of you are wondering, I haven't had one in a long time! It's been over a year now. These meds are really working and I'm actually driving and having a somewhat normal life. The side effects can be difficult to handle but I'd take med side effects over a seizure any day! So, since this is my first post, I guess I want to know what people want to see on here. I plan to add some links, keep people updated on what's going on in the E community as much as I can and other than that, this will just be a normal blog, letting you know how my life with epilepsy is. If you have a blog too, please let me know 'cause I wanna check it out!

  1. Jacqui,
Wonderful to get to know you and your blog... I love how upbeat and happy you sound and I hope you stay that way. I have been a PWE sin I was 3 years old---53 years now! Lots has changed, lots has remained the same, but "coming out" as a person with epilepsy is the one thing I have done that has helped to change my own life.

    Thanks for doing it too!

  2. Hi Jacqui!
I just stumbled across your blog through the EF ecommunities, and I just wanted to say thanks for making such a cute and useful blog! Also, I'd like to recommend livejournal and its group, "epileptics", which has helped me soo much in dealing with my epilepsy. If you do have a livejournal, please feel free to friend me! My link is http://girlxinxblue.livejournal.com/ Otherwise I'll see you around the ecommunities! (my name on ecommunities is emg101, just btw)
